Call (815) 483-2595 and someone will pick up. Tell them whether it is a checkup or something that hurts and they will find you a time that fits around work or school. We are open until 6 on Tuesday and Wednesday and every other Saturday morning.
You will be welcomed at the desk and given the paperwork to fill in. The waiting area is quiet and nobody gets rushed through. If you are running late, call ahead and we will do what we can rather than turn you away.
We start with a conversation about your history and what has been bothering you. Then digital X rays if they are needed, a full exam and a clean. You leave knowing what is going on in your mouth and what we suggest doing about it.
Tell us when you book and again when you sit down. We will explain each step before it happens, use the right anesthetic and stop the moment you raise a hand. Nobody here will make you feel foolish for being anxious.
We accept most major dental plans and will check what yours covers before your appointment where we can. If something is only partly covered we will say so upfront, so you know what is yours to pay before we begin.
You get the price in writing before treatment starts, not after. If the total is more than you were expecting, say so. We can often stage the work over time or set up a payment plan so the important parts get done first.
